July 27, 1991: Brian Voss wins his 11th PBA title at the Columbia 300 Open in Austin, Tex., by defeating top seed Scott Devers, 238-212.


July 27, 1988: David Ozio bangs home three strikes in the final frame to nip Del Warren, 236-235, at the Hammer Open in Edmond, Okla., to capture his fourth PBA title. Warren, who led the field by 201 pins, closed with a four-bagger before Ozio's heroics.


July 27, 1982: Guppy Troup downs top seed Steve Fehr, 231-204, in the championship match of the Molson Bowling Challenge in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
