BVL Kickoff raises nearly $6,300

November 2, 2002 — A total of $6,270.29 was raised this afternoon at Fort Belvoir Bowling Center for the Bowlers to Veterans Link at the 2002-2003 BVL Kickoff.

NCABA Director Tim Bailey led all bowlers in pledge totals with $1,325.80—including $2.16 per pin—while WDCAWBA Treasurer Anita Barila topped the women with $556.44. Among the veterans, Wendy Grice was high with $118.80.

This season, NCABA/WDCAWBA will attempt to lead the nation in BVL association pledges for the eighth time in the last nine years.
